Building on international standards activities and R&D, SyncTechno develops technologies, products and services for public safety, maritime, UAV and IoT applications.

SyncTechno researches global technical standards with a focus on public safety and maritime applications, and has turned technological change into products and services that industry can put to use.
Through participation in domestic and international standards activities, including 3GPP, APT and oneM2M, we have studied the requirements of fast-moving technology areas such as public warning systems, maritime communications and IoT. Rather than simply following standards, we place importance on identifying the problems and opportunities that must be addressed before new technologies are applied in industry.
Since our founding in 2013, mobile networks and IoT have been our core research areas. In 2016 we expanded our activities in domestic and international standards organizations, and in 2019 we established a corporate R&D center to strengthen the research, development and commercialization of international standards-based technologies.
When technology and industry ecosystems shift, new challenges emerge that existing approaches cannot easily solve. Through international standards activities and field projects, SyncTechno identifies these changes early and develops them into R&D topics.
Our key R&D topics have included the language and accessibility of emergency alert messages, the entry of diverse IoT devices and the automotive industry into the mobile ecosystem during the transition from LTE to 5G, and the extension of mobile communications from land to sea.
This focus led to R&D in emergency information delivery for public safety, multi-network maritime wireless communications, UAV ground control and mission data integration, and conformance testing environments for IoT and smart cities. These efforts form the foundation of DX-Safety, DX-Ocean, DX-Sky, CertMate and our implementation services.
We apply international standards and R&D experience in operational environments across public safety, maritime, UAVs and IoT standards and testing.
We research public warning and IoT integration technologies so that emergency information reaches those who need it, regardless of language or device, and leads to real response.
We extend land-based mobile communications and data technologies to the maritime environment and develop technologies and services for vessel communications and maritime data utilization.
We research technologies for multi-UAV operations and control, mission management and the use of video and flight data, and apply them in real mission environments.
Based on global standards such as oneM2M, we provide IoT platform integration, device development support, and conformance testing and verification environments.

Based on R&D outcomes in public safety, maritime, UAVs and IoT standards and testing, we have received ministerial commendations and recognition for technological innovation. We have also secured core technologies such as autonomous vessel communications and multi-drone operations as intellectual property, including patents and trademarks, strengthening the foundation of our products and services.
Since our founding, we have expanded our participation in domestic and international standards organizations and our R&D capabilities, while continuing to commercialize our technologies as products.
