We applied CertMate to an accredited test environment that verifies the standards conformance of oneM2M products, integrating the entire testing process from product registration to result reporting.
TTA carries out domestic and international standardization, testing and certification across all ICT fields and supports the technological competitiveness and overseas expansion of Korean companies. As the Korean standards body for the oneM2M organization and an accredited test laboratory, it tests whether oneM2M products developed in Korea meet requirements and supports subsequent certification procedures.
Supporting accredited testing of oneM2M products requires managing every stage in one system: registering test targets, configuring environments, planning, execution, analyzing logs and message flows and writing result reports. It was important for testers to repeat tests against the same criteria and to provide results in a consistent format that product developers and certification bodies can use.
Based on CertMate, we configured a single environment for registering products under test, setting test profiles, creating test plans, running batch and individual tests, analyzing results from message flows and logs and generating reports. We also provided user screens that let testers check the progress and results of complex standards tests step by step.
Product information, test environments and applicable profiles are registered to manage test conditions consistently.
Selected test cases are executed, and message flows and detailed logs are used to check standards-compliant behavior.
Test results are compiled and generated as reports for use in subsequent certification procedures and product improvement.
The CertMate-based test environment verifies the standards conformance of oneM2M products through a consistent procedure and provides a foundation for using test results in subsequent GCF certification. It helps Korean product developers prepare systematically for standards testing and certification and secure the validation data needed to enter overseas markets.
